Vortech is giving you the cold shoulder – it's next-level therapy!
The Vortech 58°F™ Cold Shoulder Therapy Wrap was developed in collaboration with collegiate and professional athletic trainers, as well as medical physicians, to deliver localized cryotherapy that reduces inflammation while preserving functional mobility. Engineered to anatomically contour the upper body, the wrap provides targeted cooling coverage to the clavicle, rotator cuff, deltoid, biceps, and pectoralis major, without impairing range of motion, even in its frozen state.
Designed for biomechanical compatibility, the Cold Shoulder Wrap conforms to the body for an ergonomic fit that facilitates movement and comfort during use.
At the core of Vortech 58°F™ technology is a scientifically engineered hydrocarbon compound that transitions from liquid to solid at exactly 58°F, clinically identified as the optimal temperature for therapeutic cold application. This specific threshold was selected to avoid the risk of cold-induced injury, such as frostbite, which may occur at temperatures as low as 17°F, far below typical freezer conditions (0°F). Unlike conventional ice or gel-based packs, Vortech 58°F™ has undergone rigorous testing to ensure both efficacy and safety across all stages of use.
Each wrap features two precision-placed Velcro® straps, enabling secure attachment and adjustable compression without the complications of elastic bandaging. This system enhances user convenience while maintaining consistent therapeutic pressure over the injured area.
