Vortech 58° F - it's a wrap!

Vortech 58° F Cold Therapy Wraps change phase from liquid to solid state at around 58° F. This is a safe and effective temperature to treat post injury, or post-surgical inflammation. This temperature also considerably reduces the risk of thermal skin burn, and cold shock that ice and gel can sometimes cause. The cooling surface is Latex-Free and safe for continual use. Always consult your healthcare provider prior to starting any new therapeutic treatment. 

Instructions:

Remove the wrap from the packaging and set aside the straps. Place wrap, liquid side up, in an average temperature freezer for approximately 20 minutes (40 in the fridge), or until the clear cells are completely charged - solid white. Remove wrap from the freezer or fridge and place the latex-free, solid white cells against the appropriate joint or muscle - attach the straps and adjust for comfort.

Re-charge the wrap as needed for use. Long term storage in fridge or freezer is not recommended but should not harm your wrap.

  • Do not over-tighten straps as this may adversely affect circulation
  • Discontinue use if discomfort, extreme redness, or increased swelling occurs. If pain persists, consult your healthcare professional
  • If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use. Wash affected area with mild soap and warm water
  • Keep wrap away from sharp objects to avoid puncture!
  • Keep wrap away  from heat and open flame!
